  • Assist Guest Room Attendants with daily support as requested, such as laundering and restocking of linens, preparation of carts, restocking of housekeeping closets/storage, removal of soiled linens and waste, and any requests of leadership and GRAs to provide support.
  • Act as a runner to GRAs to bring high-urgency items to expedite guest room readiness.
  • Move furniture and rearrange areas as assigned, such as re-arranging lobby furniture or preparing tables and chairs for an in-house event.
  • As required, clean public/shared spaces within the hotel. Use checklist to clean lobby areas, soft seating areas, interior and immediate exterior of employee and guest entrances, hallways and stairwells, public restaurant areas and banquet spaces as assigned, employee lounge/time clock hallways and areas, guest and employee restrooms, etc.
  • Wipe down and sanitize all surfaces appropriately using the assigned chemical agents.
  • Sweep, vacuum, Swiffer, and mop floors to ensure high level of cleanliness.
  • Remove all waste in dedicated spaces.
  • Greet and interact with guests as needed. Handle guest requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ensure discretion and respect guest privacy at all times.
  • Perform laundry services as required.
  • Communicate any lost and found items to front desk. Report immediately and turn over for secure proper storage.
  • Check the condition of all paper products in used public spaces (toilet paper, paper towels, newspapers, provided marketing collateral, etc.). Replenish as needed.
  • Replace any used disposable items in guest amenity displays such as lobby coffee/tea station. Replenish stock, remove waste, and tidy the area regularly.
  • Return any soiled items in hallways to dish station, such as IRD dishes and glassware.
  • Ensure heat/air conditioning is set to default temperature.
  • Adhere to sign in/out procedures for department keys.
  • Clean and organize the housekeeping area at the end of each shift, respectfully setting up the next shift for success.
  • Communicate closely with other departments, such as when a guest reports a maintenance work order or front desk issue to be addressed.
  • Assist guests with luggage especially for large groups when needed.
  • Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Assist in training new staff as requested.
