Job Description
As a Data Architect you will lead data and AI transformation initiatives for clients, defining the data blueprint and architecture for complex programs. Your responsibilities include architecting end-to-end data platforms covering ingestion, orchestration, governance, security, cost‑optimisation and observability, and translating business needs into scalable, resilient, and secure data solutions. You will work with the following technologies and capabilities:
- Multi‑cloud, data warehouse and data lake platforms
- Data manipulation, integration and ingestion technologies
- Programming and scripting languages
- ML/AI frameworks
- Infrastructure and Dev Ops concepts and tooling
- Semantic models and metrics layers
- Data governance tooling
As a Principal Consultant you will operate at a strategic and leadership‑focused level, managing complex client challenges, leading teams, and owning end‑to‑end delivery. You will also drive bid leadership, identify new opportunities, support newer team members, champion best practice, set team direction, create an inclusive environment, and push both capability and client outcomes to a higher standard. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, applying agile best practices and solving complex problems with clients.

- Hands‑on data background with experience leading engineering teams to deliver applications and services
- Clear understanding and practical application of data architecture and delivery methodologies
- Confidence operating across the data domain with an understanding of AI impact on solutions
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent collaboration with multiple stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment
- Relevant certifications in methodologies and cloud technologies are advantageous
- Experience across major cloud vendors (Azure, AWS, GCP), Databricks, Snowflake and similar platforms
