Location: Manchester, NH (On-site as needed/requested)
Position OverviewPCI Pharma is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise network infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions across a growing environment, with a strong focus on wireless, security, and routing technologies.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can independently lead technical initiatives while also supporting day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead network-related projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision
- Configure, manage, and support Cisco wireless environments
, including: - Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
- Access point deployment and wireless policy configuration
- Administer and secure network firewalls
, including: - Firepower Management Center (FMC)
- Support identity and security platforms
, including: - Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
- Design, implement, and maintain switching and routing infrastructure
- Support dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis across complex environments
- Install, rack, and configure network hardware including switches, access points, and related infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and scalability
- 4–7+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience
- Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies
- Proven experience working with:
- Deep understanding of:
- Switching and routing concepts
- Protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Demonstrated ability to own and lead projects independently
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly
- Experience working in on‑site environments and supporting physical network infrastructure
- Ability to rack, stack, and deploy network equipment
- Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Exposure to global or multi‑site network environments
- Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools
- Knowledge of security best practices and network hardening
