Manchester Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking an IT Coordinator to provide day-to-day technical support for agency staff while coordinating technology services with our external IT provider. This position plays a key role in ensuring employees have the technology, equipment, and support they need to serve our residents.
What You'll Do:- Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT support requests.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, phone, and mobile device issues.
- Coordinate and track support requests with our external IT service provider.
- Set up technology and user accounts for new employees and coordinate offboarding.
- Maintain inventory of computers, phones, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and other agency software.
- Assist with technology upgrades, software deployments, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Manage website and intranet updates with vendors and internal departments.
- Research and recommend technology solutions and equipment purchases.
- Maintain IT documentation, policies, and knowledge resources.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of IT support, help desk, or related technical experience.
- Experience with Active Directory, user account administration, multifactor authentication, and technology asset management.
- Working knowledge of HP & Dell computer hardware, Windows operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Valid driver's license and proof of personal automobile insurance.
