atholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for a full-time IT Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. The IT Specialist is responsible for managing and monitoring computer systems, servers, printers, storage, network and telephony infrastructures on premise and cloud based. They are also responsible for providing 1st level IT user support.

- Install, configure, test, and maintain systems, application software, system management tools and systems integrations
- User environment management, including desktops/laptops, profile management, software delivery, etc.
- Respond to the needs and questions of users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs
- Create and/or update documentation concerning IT systems and IT procedures
- Champion IT standards, procedures, policies, and best practices
- Communicate standards of use of operations and security of network, personal computers, and data
- Liaise and partner with vendors and coworkers to ensure proper execution of IT related projects, initiatives and training.
- Associates Degree in Information Technology (IT) or comparable degree
- 2+ years operational experience in IT Infrastructure (network, server, storage administration)
- Solid working knowledge in Microsoft products (Microsoft certified preferred)
- Microsoft server operating systems – 2012, 2019, Active Directory, Microsoft 365
- Networking: switching and routing, VLANS, TCP/IP, VPNs
- VMware virtualization and Horizon VDI
- Veeam Software
- VoIP phone system
- Mobile Device Management
- Strong knowledge of information security threats, vulnerability management, and associated operational best practices.
- IT security certification, preferred.
- Customer orientation (e.g. short response times, appropriate communication and continuous information flow, adequate solutions)
- Good analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Drive for excellence in own work and cooperation with customers/ colleagues/ employees
- Efficient and resilient working style (e.g. priority setting, absorb pressure)
