Position: Inventory Compliance Specialist

Posted:
- Control the flow of goods, services, and information from origin to delivery, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Identify logistics strategies and ensure the execution of processes in support of inventory functions.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for standard logistics processes within warehouse operations.
- Perform a wide variety of tasks and transactions related to the incoming and outgoing of materials, products, or equipment within the inventory system.
- Build relationships and communication platforms with strategic customers, both internal and external, to ensure objectives and commitments are met.
- Aid in forecasting and budgeting by developing metrics and analytical tools.
- Make decisions based on MRP/ERP principles and process receipts promptly to support factory operations.
- Process inventory records that affect physical counts and inventory balances within SAP and EWMS (Electronic Warehouse Management System).
- Perform root‑cause analysis and develop corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.
- Provide guidance related to process discipline and compliance.
- Ensure execution and continuous improvement of standard processes and participate in process improvement teams.
- Oversee Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) audits.
- Generate and report on system health metrics.
- Conduct investigations of inventory discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot system transaction errors and take appropriate corrective action.
- Monitor and review subcontractor inventory management.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Experience with inventory data management.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred: Logisticians Certification (CPIM), Sigma Certification, and experience with FAR requirements.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
