We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist to support our client’s purchasing and inventory management operations across three state-of-the‑art manufacturing facilities in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire.

The Role

In this position, you'll blend strategic procurement with hands‑on inventory management. You'll create and monitor purchase orders, negotiate supplier pricing, manage vendor relationships, and conduct regular inventory counts—all while ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards. This role that keeps you engaged across both office and warehouse environments.

What You'll Do:
  • Issue purchase orders and track order status from placement to delivery
  • Source and negotiate competitive pricing for packaging, supplies, and materials
  • Review requisitions and supplier specifications while supporting the accounting team
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records across both facilities
  • Resolve vendor issues, including order discrepancies, delays, and damaged shipments
  • Coordinate supplier corrective action requests and maintain regulatory compliance documentation
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, materials management, or supply chain
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchase order/ERP software systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Comfort working in both office and warehouse settings
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between facility locations
  • Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and actively participate in inventory activities

Compensation starts at $55,000+ depending on experience.
