Manufacturing Equip Maint Technician
Job Purpose:
Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Nature of Duties:
* Troubleshoots, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
* Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform diagnostics.
* Rebuilds/Service manufacturing equipment as required.
* May perform equipment modifications as directed by Manufacturing Engineers.
* Identify spare parts, tools or materials needed to maintain equipment.
* Perform Regular Preventative Maintenance.
Education and Experience:
* 2 year Technical Degree.
* 2 - 4 years minimum of SMT Machine Operation and Repair.
* Knowledge of Fuji equipment is plus.
* Knowledge of Automation with some knowledge of PLCs and its operation.
* Basic computer knowledge is required.
* Experience decreasing downtime and yields improvements.
