Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Gentex Corporation is seeking an Assembler 2 to build high-quality automotive and safety products in our advanced manufacturing facility in Zeeland, MI. In this role, you will assemble and test electro-mechanical components, follow detailed work instructions, and use hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment to meet production and quality standards. You'll inspect parts, document results, and support continuous improvement in a clean, team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and products according to standardized work instructions and diagrams
• Operate basic hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment safely and effectively
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
• Document production, test results, and defects accurately in required systems or forms
• Follow safety, 5
• S, and quality procedures in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment
• Meet daily production, quality, and reliability targets while minimizing scrap and rework
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to resolve issues and improve processes
• Participate in training and cross-training to support flexibility across workstations
