Tekni Plex is hiring an Extrusion Operator for our Manchester, NH facility. Responsible for the setup, operation, or tend to machines to extrude thermoplastic in tubes, solids, shapes or coated products.

• Assist in lines setup according to run sheet, adjusting equipment and machinery as necessary to meet product specification.
• Examine products to verify conformance to specification using various measuring methods including:
  Laser micrometers, Gage Pins, Tape measures, Snap Gages, and Calipers
• Identify and pull materials using production paperwork and load machinery.
• Adjust equipment to ensure product count meets customer specification.
• Assisting in perform line safety inspections to ensure equipment is running properly.
• Able to read, retain, and decipher information from work orders and customer prints to produce parts.
• Performs other duties as required by business needs or assigned by management.

• High School graduate or equivalent GED certification with 18 months related work experience, preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Basic Computer skills are required. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills, preferred.
• Must be self-directed with good communication and interpersonal skills using tact and diplomacy.
