Purpose
Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Assemble electronic assemblies per specifications and ensure quality is always a priority. We are looking for a motivated team player with a great attitude whom we can train to succeed in this role.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities- Assemble electronic products and components according to instructions and visual aids.
- Set up and operate production equipment following standard procedures and profiles.
- Utilize quality practices to ensure assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
- Monitor and inspect products for quality issues; take pride in the accuracy of your own work.
- Perform basic operator maintenance for manufacturing equipment and keep accurate logs.
- Comply with all safety guidelines, including safe handling and disposal materials.
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the production floor as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to sit, stands, walks, and bends for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., and stand for a regular 8-hour work shift.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new skills (we will train you!).
- Excellent communication skills —must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English, and comfortably read/understand instructions.
- Strong reliability and a history of good attendance.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic familiarity with computers.
- General comfort level around manufacturing or production machinery (experience is a plus, but not required).
- Soldering experience is a plus, but not required.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work as required (in addition to a standard 40-hour work week).
