Job Description
We are seeking a Social Media & Email Marketing Manager to join our Easterseals NH & VT team! The individual in this key position will lead and own Easterseals NH & VT’s digital engagement strategy across social media (12+ accounts) and marketing channels. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and continuously optimizing multi-channel strategies that drive growth in audience engagement, brand awareness, and conversion, and serves as the organizations subject matter expert in social media strategy, marketing automation, CRM optimization, and digital analytics.
The Social Media & Email Marketing Manager will translate performance data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations that support organizational priorities and advance the organizations mission. This role will report to the Senior Director of Creative. Essential responsibilities include:
- Ability to build, manage, and optimize complex email automations and customer journeys, including drip campaigns and form-filled triggered workflows, based on behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle stage.
- Expertise in list management, segmentation strategies, tagging, and data hygiene to ensure targeting accuracy and compliance.
- Strong understanding of email deliverability best practices, including sender reputation, authentication, and spam mitigation.
- Experience developing and executing A/B and multivariate testing strategies (subject lines, content, timing, CTAs) and applying insights to improve performance.
- Proficiency in campaign reporting and analytics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and attribution; ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a multi-platform social media strategy that increases engagement, strengthens brand awareness, and drives audiences to action.
- Manage and continuously optimize more than 12 active social media accounts across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent branding, messaging, and quality across all channels.
- Create, schedule, and publish compelling content for 12+ social media accounts via Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, Tik Tok ensuring alignment with audience demographics and platform best practices.
- Produce digital assets including graphics, visuals, short-form reels and simple animations to enhance storytelling and elevate campaign performance.
- Maintain a comprehensive editorial calendar to plan, sequence, and strategically time social media posts, ensuring consistent cadence, optimal posting windows, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Manage paid social media promotions, optimizing targeting, messaging, and budget allocation to maximize reach and conversions.
- Monitor, tag, and analyze social performance using tools such as Sprout Social providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Use social listening and analytics tools to track audience behavior, sentiment, and trends, proactively informing content and campaign strategy.
- Regularly report on social media metrics, engagement trends, and how social efforts are converting audiences into measurable actions.
- Develop and produce high quality, on brand content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, and additional digital channels, tailoring messaging and format to align with platform best practices and audience needs.
- Educate and mentor Mar Com Project Managers in developing content assets for digital platforms; in coordination with Mar Com colleagues, collaborate with program-based content creators from across the organization.
- Collaborate with Senior Director of Marketing and Communications and Mar Com Project Managers to build the content calendar and communicate plans with internal teams.
- Perform additional duties as requested. Attend organizational events, both fundraisers, as well as awareness opportunities to capture content for future use.
- Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, multimedia communications, or a related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience providing social media strategy, execution and assessment for an organization with multiple social media platforms preferred
- Demonstrated experience developing multi-channel marketing strategies tied to measurable KPIs, audience targeting, and acquisition
- Experience managing and optimizing paid social media budgets, including targeting strategy, bid optimization, and ROI analysis
- Experience using Sprout Social (or comparable social media management platforms) to plan, execute, tag, and analyze social campaigns
- Three (3) to five (5) years of professional experience with Active Campaign or comparable email marketing and automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hub Spot, or Constant Contact)
- Ability to create engaging social media reels and simple animations that enhance storytelling, increase audience engagement, and align with organizational brand guidelines
