American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Psychiatric position at a pediatric and adolescent inpatient facility, requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills.
Requirements- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
- Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required
- Phlebotomy experience required, including blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Inpatient pediatric and adolescent psychiatric facility
- Patient population consists exclusively of children and adolescents receiving psychiatric and residential treatment care
- 2nd shift only
- Administers medications and medical treatments under the direction of the Nurse Manager
- Participates in comprehensive treatment planning as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
- Utilizes the nursing process in accordance with the facility's Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles
- Two managerial references required for consideration
