Aboutthe Job
As an Endoscopy LNA, you will work with the endoscopy team to provide patients with excellent care and service. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the areas of pre‑procedure preparation, procedure assistance, post‑procedure follow up and patient education. You will assist in room setup and equipment cleaning between procedures as needed. You should also be prepared to provide additional LNA support in other medical areas when requested.
WhatYou’ll Do
Responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care duties, ranging from simple to complex, to the specialty population of the unit or department. Under the guidance and supervision of the registered nurse, the LNA assists providers under supervision by a registered nurse and credentialed endoscopic provider. The LNA is also responsible for the care and handling of associated endoscopic equipment. The LNA must ensure that safety protocols are properly adhered to, with patient data being recorded accurately and on a timely basis.
WhoYou Are
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year LNA experience required.
- Phlebotomist experience preferred; on‑the‑job training would be considered.
- Current Nursing Assistant License in the State of New Hampshire required.
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred.
