MDS Coordinator, RN

Overview

Full-time RN Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator (MDS) – Lebanon Center.

In this role, you will play a key role in meeting Genesis business objectives by ensuring appropriate reimbursement for patient care services and participating in the Patient Assessment Process.

• Assist in developing individualized patient care plans, identifying patient needs and projected outcomes as required by Federal and State regulations.
• Contribute to the nursing center interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process by completing, encoding, and electronically transmitting MDS and Care Area Assessments (CAAs).
• Identify changes in patient condition with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate scheduling and completion of indicated assessments.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living training for new hires and ongoing education for existing staff.
• Attend educational programs to maintain knowledge of current RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state, in good standing.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility.
• Experience completing MDSs and Care Plans.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices, including laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Posted Salary Range: USD $44.00 - $48.50 per hour.

Bonus: USD $5,000.00.
