Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine at Elliot Health System seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of providers, working alongside two physicians and one APRN. This Monday through Friday, 40‑hour position includes inpatient rounding, hospital and office hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and education for wound patients during outpatient visits and inpatient rounds.
• Conduct telephone evaluations and triage calls to assess patient needs.
• Develop and implement instructional programs tailored to patient requirements.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff and physicians in care planning.
• Utilize two hyperbaric chambers in the office for hyperbaric therapy.

Qualifications:

• FNP certification with a minimum of 2 years RN experience and 2 years NP experience.
• Experience in general surgery, wound care, or ostomy strongly preferred.
