Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Elliot Health System’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) invites a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide family‑centered care. The successful candidate will manage high‑risk newborns, participate in a regional transport program, administer advanced therapies such as high‑frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and whole‑body cooling, and coordinate care across subspecialty services including surgery, pulmonology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, and developmental‑behavioral pediatrics.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the neonatology team to create, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for each high‑risk newborn. Provide direct clinical care, education, and support to parents and families throughout the treatment journey. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality‑improvement initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Minimum Requirements- Skilled in PICC line placement, delivery room management, lumbar puncture, and endotracheal intubation.
- Board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Eligible for a New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner license.
- Eligible for a Federal DEA Certificate.
Days/Nights/Weekends.
