The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Manchester, TN, to recruit an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Surgical Services team.
In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients throughout the surgical experience.
You'll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient surgical services while serving in roles such as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, post-anesthesia care nurse, or other perioperative support functions asneeded.
Schedule:
Full-Time | Days
- Deliver nursing care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Assess,monitor, and document patient condition before, during, and after surgery
- Prepare patients, equipment, and the operating room for surgical procedures
- Serveas a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or post-anesthesia care nurse as assigned
- Administermedications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Maintaina safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Monitor patient recovery and provide education to patients and families
- Respondto changes in patient condition and surgical emergencies
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety, regulatory, and infection prevention standards
- Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- CurrentBLS certification required
- ACLScertification required or ability to obtain within the required timeframe
- PALS certification preferred or required based on department needs
- Previousperioperative or operating room experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention, and perioperative nursing practices
- Abilityto thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
