Wound Care, Nurse Practitioner
Elliot Health System's Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of Wound Care providers. Join two physicians and one APRN, with a combination of outpatient visits and hospital rounding.
This Monday through Friday 40-hour position includes inpatient rounding, hospital, and office hours.
Responsibilities- Work closely and collaboratively with experienced nursing staff and physicians to identify patient and family needs.
- Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and education to wound patients.
- Perform telephone evaluation and triage.
- Expand and implement instructive programs to match patient needs.
- Participate in call rotation 1:4 and hospital rounding.
- FNP with a minimum of 2+ years RN experience and 2 years NP experience.
- General Surgery, Wound, or Ostomy experience strongly preferred.
