RN: Stepdown

Job Description:

This stepdown cardiac registered nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in the emergency department setting, specifically supporting inpatient and CICU Level holds. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, where you’ll be responsible for managing a variety of critical cardiac conditions, including chest pain, heart failure, and arrhythmias, while using advanced equipment such as Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, and Alaris Pumps.

Ideal for those with at least two years of experience in PCU or ED settings, this assignment challenges you to apply your skills with minimal supervision while adapting to float to similar units as needed. Your duties include titrating multiple drips, patient sitting, and assisting in team nursing efforts, all within a fast‑paced environment that values precision and teamwork.
