Position Overview:The Registered Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Trauma Program at our client facility in Manchester, NH. This includes managing a team of nurses, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the highest quality of care for trauma patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma nursing and management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of nurses and support staff in the Trauma Program, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for trauma patients
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient operations
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Trauma Program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
- Oversee the budget and resource allocation for the Trauma Program, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effective operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as a liaison between the Trauma Program and other departments, as well as external organizations and agencies
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations as required
- Stay current on developments and advancements in trauma nursing and management through continuing education and professional development opportunities
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trauma nursing, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of trauma nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team
- Proficiency in electronic health records and other healthcare technology
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements for trauma programs
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
