Maintenance Team Member

Responsibilities:

• Yard Maintenance Season
  • Execute spring cleanups, fall cleanups, regular mowing, and mulching
  • Equipment used: weed whackers, commercial mowers, push mowers, blowers, and hand tools
• Snow Removal Season
  • During snow storms: shoveling walkways
  • After snow storms: roof raking
  • Equipment used: shovels, sand / salt spreader, and roof rakes
• Other
  • Maintaining and caring for the equipment required for these tasks
  • Ad-hoc assistance with landscaping & construction projects

Qualifications & Desired Qualities

• Experience and comfortability with a variety of commercial zero-turn style mowers as well as other yard maintenance power equipment
• Physically capable of doing demanding work including operating and maintaining all equipment necessary for job
• Hard-working and reliable - you take pride in your work and getting things done
• Task-oriented - you get things done and communicate constantly
• Plowing experience would put you on the high-end of our payscale
• Familiarity with technology necessary for admin work (i.e. submitting simple forms, taking pictures, writing digital notes, etc)
• Comfortable with customers and being a part of a team

Additional Requirements

• Available to be on-call November 1 to April 1 for snow removal
• Clean driving record (very important)
• At least 2 years of experience with mowing
• 3 work references with at least one in the property maintenance / snow removal field

Compensation

• Our expectation is that this will be a part-time position but open to full-time for the right candidate
• To be a full time member of the maintenance team, the candiate would have some combination of:
  • Snow plow driver experience
  • Carpentry experience
  • Mechanic experience
  • Experience leading a team
• Full time benefits include 16 collective days of PTO, sick time, and company holidays; 401k, Aflac supplemental insurance
• Compensation is $18-23 / hour starting based on experience and skills.
