You’ll join a leading manufacturing solutions provider supporting fast-growing areas of the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market, with PCB builds used across defense/aerospace, industrial and semiconductor systems, medical, automotive, and clean technology.
As an In-Process Inspector, you’ll help ensure high-quality PCBA (printed circuit board assembly) production by performing detailed visual and solder inspection to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. Day-to-day, you will inspect solder joints under high-power microscopes, verify AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI/X-ray results, and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) against prints and BOMs to keep builds compliant and customer-ready. You’ll also document non-conformances through NCRs, maintain accurate inspection logs, and perform careful rework/hand soldering when touch-ups or component replacement are required.f

Work Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Required Skills,
Education and Experience 1–3 years of experience in a PCBA or electronic assembly environment
Hands-on knowledge of IPC-A-610 (acceptability criteria) and J-STD-001 (soldering requirements)
Experience performing visual inspection and solder inspection using high-power microscopes
Experience verifying results and/or setting up checks for AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and AXI/X-ray inspection
Ability to perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using customer blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOM)
Experience creating or supporting NCR (non-conformance report) documentation and maintaining detailed inspection logs Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and detailed customer specifications
Strong adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention
Manual dexterity for working with surface-mount components (SMT), including solder touch-ups and component replacement
High school diploma or equivalentASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification (highly preferred)
