Job DescriptionPosition Summary
The Laser Marking Operator I will operate laser marking machine and laser mark instruments per customers' prints and requirements.
- Starts up and shuts down laser marking machines
- Follows program notes to build and install fixturing.
- Performs 100% visual inspection of markings on each piece.
- Measures any dimensions using proper equipment to confirm program is correct (i.e., caliper, optical comparator, gauging) and adjusts as needed.
- Confirms proper focus to achieve desired markings.
- Initials, dates, and confirms piece count is correct
- Works independently and maintains productivity and quality.
- Reads and interprets prints.
Qualification Requirements
Credentials/
Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prefer the ability to read blue prints (Level
2) and use measurement tools (level
1) - Math aptitude with the ability to add and subtract decimals.
- Prefer Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Prefer Drawing Editor software experience.(Level
2) - Prefer working knowledge of working with inspection equipment (calipers, mics, comparators)

Pay RangePay Range The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience. $20.00 - $20.00 / hour
