Are you a driven, results-oriented professional with a passion for building relationships and closing deals? Our Membership & Program Services Manager is responsible for driving membership growth through strategic inside sales efforts. This individual cultivates relationships with prospective and existing members, and meets or exceeds sales goals by implementing effective membership strategies. In addition, this role promotes association events, secures sponsor ships and advertising, and effectively markets the value of membership to both prospects and current members.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Membership Sales- Proactively identify and contact prospective members through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual membership goals.
- Clearly and persuasively present membership benefits to prospects.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with existing members to ensure satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
- Implement retention strategies to increase overall member value to ensure existing members renew their membership.
- Gather and analyze member feedback to enhance member programs, services, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and member interactions within the CRM system.
- Track and report sales metrics, progress, and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Ensure all membership data is current and properly maintained.
- Cross-sell member benefits and association programs to current and prospective members.
- Solicit advertisers for association publications.
- Secure sponsors and recruit attendees for association events and programs.
- Update and maintain membership database records.
- Assist with general office support in a small team environment.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Professional experience in inside sales (degree not required; equivalent experience accepted).
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Experience in membership sales or association environments is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
