Full‑Time Retail Security Officer – Manchester, NH

Job Description

This position helps maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, patrolling various locations, enforcing regulations, and providing customer service to employees and customers. A Security Officer safeguards people, property and assets, monitors for suspicious activity, enforces rules, provides a visible security presence and responds to incidents or emergencies.

Location: Manchester, NH

Pay Rate: $17.51/hour

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Friday, Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Responsibilities of a Retail Security Officer include:

• Safeguarding people, property, and assets of the client.
• Monitoring premises for suspicious activity.
• Enforcing rules and regulations.
• Providing a visible security presence.
• Responding to incidents or emergencies.
• Deterring criminal activity and maintaining order.

• Excellent observational and de‑escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communicator; capable of working closely with global and local security teams.
• Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills and prior experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
