T47 is seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Armed Security Guards to support our client, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS). FPS is responsible for protecting federally owned or leased facilities and ensuring a safe and secure environment where Federal agencies can conduct business without fear of violence, crime, or disorder.
Selected candidates will provide armed security services in a structured, professional environment and must be capable of responding to emergencies. Positions require availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays to support 24/7/365 operations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Protect client property, personnel, and visitors through deterrence, detection, observation, and reporting
- Conduct armed security patrols as directed
- Perform access control functions, including facility and campus entry control
- Conduct personnel and vehicle inspections
- Maintain post familiarity and follow all site‑specific procedures
- Manage lost and found and controlled property procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate security reports, logs, and documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years of Armed Security experience
- Two (2) years of experience in Corrections, Law Enforcement, and/or U.S. Military service
- U.S. Citizenship or proof of Naturalization

From $28.13 per hour
