Compensation
  • Hourly Pay Rates DOE $21 – $56
  • Shift Differential $5.00
  • Overtime Pay Rate – Time and a Half

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, or overhaul buses, trucks, and heavy equipment.
  • Test drive and inspect vehicles.
  • Diagnose malfunctions; consult with customers on diagnosis.
  • Read and interpret diagnostic test results.
  • Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, battery checks, lubricating equipment and parts.
  • Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components.
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • Test‑drive vehicles to ensure correct operation after repair.
Requirements – Diesel Technician
  • Certificate from a technical or trade school.
  • 1–3 Years Technician Experience.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • CDL and DOT health card preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift, pull, lift, and twist.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
  • Frequent movement of equipment or parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
Screening Requirements
  • All candidates must pass a CORI check, criminal background check, MVR check, and drug test.
