Maintenance Technician

PODS is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and inspect portable storage containers, forklifts, and warehouse equipment. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensure all assets meet safety and quality standards. You'll document work performed, track parts usage, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime. This position supports daily logistics operations in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment, working closely with drivers and operations staff to keep equipment reliable, safe, and ready for customer use.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair portable storage containers and related equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, vehicles, and warehouse systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Document all maintenance activities, parts used, and repair timelines
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Support daily warehouse and yard operations to minimize equipment downtime
• Coordinate with vendors or supervisors for complex repairs or parts ordering
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and maintenance tools
