Job Description
Shift time: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Compensation range: $20.00 to $23.00
The Warehouse Associate Level 2 (Intermediate) – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely receipt, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods, and for planning efficient truck loads. This role supports daily shipping/receiving operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires a dependable, detail-oriented individual comfortable with physically demanding work.
- Receives inbound shipments - unloads, inspects, counts, and verifies against purchase orders and BOLs
- Processes and ships outbound orders - picks, stages, packs, labels, and prepares documentation
- Operates forklifts and pallet jacks to move product safely throughout the warehouse
- Plans truck loads - determines optimal cargo composition, weight distribution, and vehicle fit to maximize load efficiency
- Coordinates truck scheduling and dock activity with carriers and internal teams
- Manages and posts inbound/outbound transactions in the warehouse system (Genesis/ERP)
- Maintains accurate documentation: BOLs, packing lists, shipping records, and receiving logs
- Performs cycle counts, supports inventory accuracy, and generates reports as needed
- Communicates with logistics partners, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipment issues
- Mentors other associates as needed
Minimum 6 months experience in entry level warehouse role
Completed Level 1 skills checklist and formal evaluation
Demonstrated reliability, accuracy, and teamwork Key Responsibilities
Basic computer and math skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliable attendance.
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (or willingness to be certified).
Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
