Position: Financial Controller - Full-Time
Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a well-known hospital in Manchester; TN and we are looking to hire an experienced and skilled Financial Controller to join its Finance team.

Under the direction of the CFO, the Financial Controller is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, supporting financial and administrative audits, and carrying out other assigned accounting duties

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulations,GAAP standards, hospital practice, and confidentiality requirements
  • Supervise the Staff accountant &oversee accounting operations, including journal entry, account reconciliation, variance analysis, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting
  • Prepare audit and cost reportdocumentation while ensuring financial data accuracy and integrity
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information
  • Manage depreciation and prepaidschedule, monthly entry, bank reconciliation, and cash management activity
  • Oversee Business Office operations,ensuring timely and accurate posting of hospital and clinic payments andcash receipts
  • Support hospital operations throughemergency response and other assigned duties
What We Are Looking For :

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience
  • Two years of bookkeeping oraccounting experience, including payroll and accounts payable
  • Healthcare accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel,Word, PowerPoint, and financial software applications
  • Skilled in advanced spreadsheetdevelopment, data entry, and electronic data processing equipment
Additional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
