Salary Range: $156,000 - $208,000 / year
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) offers an opportunity for an IS&T Business Process Automation Developer to support TOS II at Arnold Air Force Base. The role involves operating and maintaining U.S. Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment systems. The selected candidate may be required to work outside normal business hours for application upgrades.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will analyze, design, and implement solutions that streamline business processes. The role blends business analysis, process improvement, and technical implementation using BPLogix Process Director and Microsoft Power Platform. The person will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver efficient automation solutions.
Job Duties- Requirements Gathering & Multi‑Tool Solution Design:
Lead the effort to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate needs into clear technical specifications, designing solutions that leverage BPLogix Process Director for workflows or Power Automate for agile automations. - Process Implementation & Development:
Analyze existing processes for inefficiencies. Build and optimize solutions by creating forms and approval workflows in Process Director and developing automated flows and integrations with Power Automate to connect systems. - Team Lead:
Lead a small team of process automation developers, providing teaching, mentoring, and general guidance. Report to the Process & Data Automation Supervisor with updates, recommendations, and performance metrics. - Project & Team Facilitation:
Manage and facilitate cross‑functional teams—including contractors, AF/DOD personnel, and customers—to deliver automation projects on time. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and successful outcomes. - Perform other duties as required.
- Master's degree in information technology, business, or a related field.
- 15 years of relevant experience in business analytics and/or business process automation.
- Automation experience may be substituted with other relevant IT experiences.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access AEDC's local area network.
- Current U.S. citizenship required.
- Hands‑on experience with BPLogix Process Director and/or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience implementing Agile and/or Six Sigma lean methodologies.
- Skill at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proof of managing and facilitating projects with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
- Experience working within Government, Military, or large‑scale environments.
