We are currently seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Co-Op to join our team in Manchester, TN
.
As an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Co-Op, you will support critical safety, environmental, and compliance initiatives across our operations. In this role, you will partner with site leadership to help drive a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement in workplace health and environmental performance.
This Co-op will play a key role in promoting a safe and sustainable work environment while gaining hands‑on experience in real‑world manufacturing operations. This role offers exposure to safety programs, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement practices that impact employee well‑being and operational excellence.

- Managing or supporting project activities such as reviewing and reformatting plant-wide Lockout Tagout procedures
- Collecting and analyzing data to assist with monthly safety reporting
- Participating in Kaizen events and Daily Management meetings
- Assisting with updating training materials
- Develop visual job aids and process documentation
- Auditing and tracking success of safety initiatives
- Supporting safety activities such as root cause analysis, audits, documentation, and corrective action
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, human resources, production, operations, and logistics
- Assisting in workplace organization and ergonomic improvements
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety or a related field; minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across functional groups
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
