We are looking for an individual who has a caring and sensitive nature to cater for the children's needs. A friendly and supportive approach is required, encouraging children to explore activities by giving them opportunities and choices to further develop their experiences. You will work as part of the nursery team, providing care for the individual child and groups of children in accordance with current nursery policies, and help the nursery nurses provide a happy, stimulating atmosphere that enables each child to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications- NNEB / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Child Care with knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
- Ability to implement EYFS through observations and planning with a key group of children.
- Commitment to further skills and qualifications through internal Trust courses or courses given by Manchester Council.
- Caring and sensitive nature to cater for the children’s needs.
- Friendly and supportive approach, encouraging children to explore activities and choices.
- Ability to provide each child with affection, stability and security, supporting nursery nurses to create a happy, stimulating environment.
- Work as part of the nursery team to provide care for individual children and groups in accordance with nursery policies.
- Provide each child with affection, stability, and security.
