The role
Temporary position until 31st October 2025. Salary: £14.34 per hour (including shift allowance).
We are currently recruiting for Kitchen Assistants to join our Airport Hospitality Team. The award‑winning lounges offer an unrivaled passenger experience.
Duties- Assist the lounge team in delivering an excellent lounge experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and all storage locations in line with health and safety standards.
- Wash all crockery, cutlery and light equipment; oversized items are washed in designated sinks using the correct Ecolab chemical.
- Clean kitchen ovens, fridges and floors according to operating standard.
- Ensure that crockery, cutlery and equipment are stored correctly and that floors and fire exits remain unobstructed.
- Monitor waste disposal bins and recycle by placing items in the correct bins, adhering to the waste policy.
- Report any maintenance issues.
- Clear all breakages and spillages following operating procedure and dispose correctly.
- Tend to deliveries, confirm receipt, arrange storage and maintain stock rotation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Flexibility: lounge open 7 days a week with shifts 5.00am–9.30pm.
- You must be over the age of 18.
