The Role

As General Manager of The Big Manchester Bake, you will take full ownership of site performance, team leadership and guest experience.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll set the tone on the floor while ensuring the venue runs smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. You’ll balance operational excellence with atmosphere, creating a space where teams thrive and guests leave smiling.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing hospitality and baking team
  • Drive exceptional, high‑energy guest experiences

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident, people‑focused leader who thrives in fast‑paced hospitality or experiential environments.

You will be:

  • Operationally strong and commercially aware
  • A visible and motivating leader
  • Calm under pressure and solutions‑focused
  • Experienced in events, hospitality or competitive socialising venues
  • Confident leading recruitment, performance management and team development

You know how to keep energy high, standards consistent and teams engaged - creating an environment where both people and performance rise together.

Why This Role is Exciting
