Operations Manager

Overview

We are looking for a talented operations manager to join our team at Yotel Manchester.

Role:
We're seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily operations, ensure an exceptional guest experience, and drive performance across all operating departments. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work with other Heads of Department to ensure the business is driven to its full potential. You will deputise for the General Manager in their absence and have full ownership and accountability for all operational areas of the business.

• Plan and direct the hotel operations including quality, standards and guest satisfaction.
• Work alongside all HODs to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, monitor business levels and manage budgeted departmental costs.
• Oversee all departments ensuring that revenue and profit budgets are achieved and that food and beverage menu composition and pricing comply with company expectations.
• Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.
• Ensure adherence to all current legislation regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety and employment law.
• Lead and develop managers and supervisors through effective training and development initiatives.
• Drive the commercial success of the business with the support of the commercial team.
• Create, implement and maintain all operational policies and procedures with department heads.
• Deputise for the General Manager in their absence.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Hospitality experience in a similar property.
• A passion for hospitality and a drive to grow and develop yourself and your team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Experience of effective project management.
