** The Role
** As Assistant Reservations Manager, you'll support the Reservations Manager in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring the smooth management of restaurant and accommodation reservations while maximising occupancy, revenue and guest satisfaction. You'll lead by example, support the Reservations team, and confidently step in and support the Reservations Manager when required.
** Please note this is a full-time, 45-hour contract role; we need somebody with flexibility to work some weekends and peak trading periods, including bank holidays.

** What You'll Be Doing
** Supporting the daily operation of the Reservations department.

Managing restaurant and accommodation bookings across multiple diaries and booking systems.

Handling high volumes of telephone, email and online enquiries.

Maximising occupancy, revenue and guest satisfaction through effective booking management, upgrades, packages and upselling.

Monitoring availability and booking trends to support commercial performance.

Managing VIP reservations, complex itineraries and special requests.

Supporting, coaching and motivating the Reservations team.

Maintaining accurate reservation records and administrative processes.

Working collaboratively with operational teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Deputising for the Reservations Manager when required.
** What We're Looking For
**** Successful Candidates will have:
** Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or similar reservations leadership role within hospitality.

Experience managing both restaurant and accommodation reservations.

Strong knowledge of reservation and property management systems.

Experience managing multiple diaries, outlets and booking systems simultaneously.

A commercial approach with experience driving occupancy, revenue and upselling opportunities.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Confidence handling VIP guests, complex bookings and high volumes of enquiries.

Strong communication, administration and attention to detail.

Experience supporting and developing team members.
