Bar Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar supervisor to over see the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As the Bar supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a small number of staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our hotel guests and general trade

Supervise and lead the bar team, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.

Oversee food preparation and production in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Manage stock levels of the bar ensuring the bar is prepped in line with events going on in and around the city, including controlling stock to minimise waste.

Help and support bar manager and other supervisors in training and mentoring staff on food safety practices and customer service excellence.

Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and regulations related to alcohol service.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to maintain a positive environment.

Assist and support any special events or promotions within the bar area.

Proven experience in a bar supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of culinary practices, food safety standards, and beverage management.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Previous experience in a hotel or high-volume establishment is advantageous.
