Senior Ecologist
Location:
Manchester
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000
The successful Senior Ecologist will work closely alongside the ecology team in Manchester, assisting with protected species surveys.
Senior EcologistPosition Overview
- Undertaking protected species surveys
- Helping to build tenders and create fee quotations
- Producing technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.)
- Managing small‑to‑medium sized projects and some large‑sized projects with assistance if needed
Position Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
- 1 protected species licence (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and understanding of how to apply them correctly
- Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management membership preferred
- Competitive salary, ranging between £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
