Role Description
This is a full‑time position for an Audio Visual Installer, based in Manchester or within a 30‑mile maximum distance from Manchester, United Kingdom. The Audio Visual Installer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of AV systems in various commercial and residential properties. Day‑to‑day tasks include installing and testing AV equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system integration, and collaborating with clients to achieve customized solutions.
Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Expertise in AV installation, configuration, and operation of systems such as projectors, displays, audio systems, and control interfaces.
- Skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to AV equipment and networked systems.
- Understanding of residential and commercial integrations, including intelligent home control systems, multi‑room audio‑video systems, and lighting design.
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills for effectively working with clients to meet their AV needs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for equipment installation and maintenance.
- Relevant technical certifications or experience in AV systems is an advantage.
- A valid UK driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
