Fire & Security Engineer

Overview

We're hiring for a Fire & Security Engineer to cover Manchester and the wider North West, carrying out service, maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of fire and security systems for a Manchester based business.

This role suits someone who enjoys field work, variety, and a regional patch that stays manageable.

• £30k - £35k p/a
• Mon - Fri | 8am - 4:30pm
• Flexible working hours
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Company van (personal use allowed)
• Fuel card provided
• Standard pension scheme
• Christmas do

• Servicing and maintaining Advanced and Protec fire alarm systems
• Fault-finding and completing small works across fire and security systems
• Working on Videx intercoms and Paxton access control
• Carrying out planned maintenance visits across the region
• Supporting minor installations and remedial works when required
• Collecting parts and materials from stores as needed

• Previous experience working with fire alarm systems
• Ability to work independently across regional sites
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused approach
