We’re recruiting for a Mobile Environmental Technician to join a leading national facilities services provider, supporting a portfolio of commercial and industrial sites across Manchester and the North West. This role focuses on water hygiene compliance and Legionella control, ensuring systems meet regulatory and safety standards.

• Carry out water hygiene PPM tasks in line with ACOP L8 guidelines
• Temperature monitoring, flushing, and sampling
• Shower head disinfection and TMV servicing
• Tank inspections, cleaning, and disinfection
• Cooling tower cleaning and compliance checks
• Identify risks and recommend remedial works
• Complete compliance documentation and reports
• Support minor remedial or upgrade works where required

• Experience with in water hygiene / Legionella compliance (or similar mechanical role)
• Understanding of H&S and safe systems of work
• Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and customer‑facing ability
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working at height or in confined spaces

• Legionella qualifications or relevant training
• Experience working within FM or building services environments
• Pool plant or mechanical plant exposure
