Commercial Van Technician

Location: Pendlebury

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Commercial Van Technician to join a reputable family-run Commercial Van Centre in Manchester.

Duties as a Commercial Van Technician:

Service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of light commercial vehicles, including vans
Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and MOT preparations as the Commercial Van Technician
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
Test vehicles and perform road tests to ensure high standards of quality
The Commercial Van Technician will maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle
Support colleagues with technical expertise and uphold high standards of workmanship
Assist in workshop equipment maintenance, ensuring operations meet manufacturer standards

Requirements:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience as a commercial vehicle technician or van technician, ideally with main dealer background
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence; EV / Hybrid qualifications are preferred, with training provided
Several years of post-apprenticeship workshop experience
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
