Mobile Electrician

EQUANS is recruiting for a Mobile Electrician to be based in Manchester. This is a permanent full-time role working 37 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Carry out duties as an Electrician in accordance with statutory regulations, company policies and procedures. Support the team in delivering high quality work that meets contract requirements safely and adhere to SHEQ team standards.

• Perform electrical tasks to a high standard, including:
  • Replacement of consumer units
  • Installation of final sub‑circuit wiring
  • Fault finding and remedial work
  • Replacement of final circuit accessories (sockets, light switches, etc)
  • Replacement of extractor fans in bathrooms and toilets
  • Replacement of light fittings according to manufacturer instructions
  • Testing in line with BS 7671 wiring regulations
  • Completion of relevant certifications (EICR, EIC and Minor works)
• Assist in maintaining company quality standards:
  • Compliance with specifications and material/workmanship schedules
  • Professional customer care and communication
  • Proper maintenance of tools, safety equipment and uniform
  • First‑time fix where possible
  • Cleanliness and tidiness of work areas
  • Responsible use of company van and custodial keys per policy
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, contract administrators and head office
  • Material coordination and accurate documentation
  • Support other reasonable management requests

• 18th edition BS7671:2018
• Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services – Electrical Installation
• Testing and inspection 2391 certification or equivalent

• Excellent organisational skills
• Current and valid Full & Clean UK driving licence
