HGV Mechanic

Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Location: Roche
Salary: £48,000 to £56,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a leading commercial vehicle dealership. As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Assisting with fault diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and electrical issues
• Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Adhering to warranty procedures and accurately completing all associated documentation
• Reporting vehicle defects and repair requirements to the Workshop Controller
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

To be considered for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter position, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Truck Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Own tools
• Apprentice-trained status and a Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
• A Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
• A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
