Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3
Experience as a Joiner, preferably with exposure in a social housing setting
Proficient in all aspects of joinery trade and maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including high-rise blocks
Able to work safely in confined spaces
Current driving licence
CSCS card holder
Asbestos awareness training
Personal tools

Responsibilities

Repair, renew and fit roofing trusses, hips, valleys, soffits, fascia, and barge boards
Repair, renew and fit ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studwork and partition walls
Install T&G or sheet flooring
Repair, renew doors, door casings, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards, ducting paneling
Repair, renew kitchen units, worktops and decorative finishes
Install or replace ironmongery for doors and windows
Repair or renew timber and UPVC window frames
Deglaze and reglaze timber fencing and gates
Maintain and replenish vehicle stock
