Refrigeration Engineer

Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected company seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Trafford Park. • Competitive hourly rate of £21 per hour

• Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units, including GAH HVAC systems and Thermo King / Carrier refrigeration equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
• Performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
• Conducting F‑Gas compliant work in accordance with industry standards
• Completing detailed service reports and documentation
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations

• Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or PWC systems
• Knowledge of GAH, Thermo King, and Carrier refrigeration systems advantageous; willingness to learn essential
• Strong fault‑finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems
• F‑Gas certification is mandatory
• Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work on‑site
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
