Location: Worsley, Greater Manchester
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing, Temp to Perm
Salary: £14.00 - £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
About the RoleCareer Makers Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic on behalf of our client based in Worsley.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Minimise vehicle downtime through effective fault diagnosis and repairs.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic is essential.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time-served experience or a recognised qualification in HGV or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is desirable.
