Senior Electrician - Renewable Energy

Senior Electrician Competitive Salary  Benefits Manchester – Travel Nationwide MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Senior Electrician to join a small, close-knit team working on a major commercial solar installation project. This role will involve working across a 200MW commercial solar panel installation, installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems as part of a small, specialist team, with travel to project sites nationwide.

As a Senior Electrician, you will be responsible for:
Installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems on large-scale commercial solar PV installations Working as part of a small, specialist team to deliver a 200MW solar panel installation project Travelling to project sites across the UK as required, while being based in the North West Carrying out cable containment, terminations and electrical connections to a high standard Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) with a valid ECS/JIB Gold Card Proven experience on commercial or industrial electrical installations, ideally within renewables or solar 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification Willingness to travel and work away from home as required by project locations A full UK driving licence This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.
